Specification: 48%, 5%,2.5% SC
CAS NO.: 131929-60-7
Structure Formula:
Molecular Formula: C41H65NO10
Physical chemistry:Spinosad is a macrocyclic lactone insecticide, derived from theactinomycete Saccharopolyspora spinosa. Biological activity:Insecticide. Melting point (℃): Spinosyn A: 84.0 ~ 99.5, Spinosyn D:161.5 ~ 170. Vapor pressure (20 ℃): 1.3×10-10Pa. Solubility:Water 235mg / L (pH = 7), can be miscible with alcohols, aliphatichydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons, esters, ethers and ketones in any ratio. Stability: Relativestable to metals and metal ions in the 28d. In the environmentdegradation through a variety of ways, mainly photodegradation andmicrobial degradation and eventually into carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and other natural ingredients. Easy to decompose in light andwater, water half-life of 1 day; in the soil half-life of 9-10 days.
Toxicology:Spinosad tech. Oral Acute oral LD50 for male rats 3783, female rats>5000 mg/kg, mice >5000 mg/kg. Skin Acute percutaneous LD50 forrabbits >5000 mg/kg. Non-irritating to skin; slight irritation toeyes but disappeared within two days. Spinosad are degradable in theenvironment, no enrichment and no pollution to the environment.
Application:Spinosad acts by altering the function of nicotinic- and GABA-gated ionchannels of insect nervous systems but it does not interact with knownbinding sites for other nicotinic- or GABA-agonistic insecticides.Active by contact and ingestion; causes paralysis, paralysis quickly andfinally death. Spinosad is low toxicity, high efficiency, low-residueof bio-pesticides. Its insecticidal speed is comparable with chemicalpesticides. Non-cross-resistance to the commonly used insecticidescurrently and safty to beneficial insects and mammals. Spinosad is mostsuitable for applying in pollution-free vegetables, fruits.
